Adoration of the Magi – Tissot
Adoration of the Magi – Tissot
The three kings adore the Christ Child after His Birth in Bethlehem, in this watercolor artwork by J. Tissot.
The Child Jesus, clothed in white, lies in a stone alcove. White light illuminates the Divine Child. One of the Three Kings prostrates himself before Christ while the other two Kings line up behind him, waiting their turn to adore. Mary and Joseph look on in the background.
