Why Are You Running Away?

Some of us slip away from bondage slowly.

Some of us do it suddenly. 

We are bound one minute.

We make a decision that we don't want to be any longer.

We set ourselves free.

We run for it!

Those who are still bound don't understand this.
They think they are free and you're the one heading into trouble. 

This happened to a friend of mine recently. She left her church. Suddenly. "Why are you running away?" They really don't understand. Do they?

I used to be there too. Until I realized the so-called "freedom" I thought I had was a tightly managed, measured, and monitored one. Which isn't freedom at all.

When I saw this, I broke free, overnight, and ran for it.
